Aging
We are living longer. The 100+ age group is one
of America’s fastest growing populations. This is due in
part to medical advancements, but also to an increasing awareness
of the control we have over our own healthy aging. Seventy-seven
percent of all deaths and illnesses are directly attributable
to our behaviors. This speech focuses on a number of important
actions we can take to ensure our chances for living a long, healthy
life.

the components of successful aging.
- Experience
how we can ‘train our brains’ to help ward off dementia.
- Appreciate
the importance of staying socially connected.
- Understand
the impact negative age-related stereotypes have on our successful
aging.
