Web
Design for the 50+ Market
Overview:
People over 50 are the fastest growing demographic group on the
Internet. While older adults are rapidly embracing the Web, many
sites are designed without their needs and preferences in mind.
Web sites are often produced by young people who may take for
granted that all users have perfect vision and motor control.
This is not the case. In addition, unlike with printed material,
the Web adds usability as a requirement. This course is designed
to assure that company Web sites are as effective with older clients
as they are with younger ones.

Marketing, communications, and graphic design professionals, employed
in corporate or agency settings.
